An interactive public installation and digital print series. Produced in collaboration with Scott Kildall

2x2 investigates the shift towards web-based public spaces such as MySpace, Facebook and Second Life.

What happens when geometrical space collapses while our social connections amplify? To materialize the psychology of online exchange, we built an installation that situates the interactions of online social networks into the physical world using only materials from business and home building supply box stores.

The artwork consists of two components: a vertical board placed in a public space to gather 2x2 posit-it notes and a series of large-scale photographic compositions of the resulting messages and drawings.
