Urban Props, is a digital print, paper sculpture, and photo series.

The project uses commercially available digital models of garbage bags, newspaper boxes, cigarette butts, and fire hydrants, etc., as its basis. Video game designers typically license these low-resolution model packs and use them as set-dressing when representing American urban streets scenes.

I constructed these digital models as paper sculptures at different scales, placed the physical models around NYC and documented their displacement against the real urban spaces.
